History of the Company
HPC, LLC began business as Harold Pike Construction in 1975 by Harold Pike and his wife Julie with the belief that Central Iowa was in need of a construction company that would be available to meet the needs of home owners and business owners as well as developers and Iowa State University. The company has built a reputation of providing quality workmanship and customer service throughout a project. HPC’s offices and warehouses have been located at the same location in Ames since its inception.
Since 1975 HPC, LLC has grown to over 40 employees. HPC, LLC has a wide variety of skilled foreman, carpenters, and laborers whose rapport with customers has been complimented repeatedly. Our engineering department is currently staffed with three full time construction engineers who are available to estimate, price and oversee construction of projects ranging from residential remodels or additions to multilevel, multimillion dollar commercial buildings.
A strong believer in the Merit Shop Philosophy as adopted by Associated Builders and Contractors, HPC, LLC continues to be a leader in the development of central Iowa. Clients return to our company time and time again for their building needs. With our commitment to service and support, our skilled field personnel, educated office staff and reputation for high quality construction HPC, LLC is sure to stay a part of the community for years to come.
